This DVD presents concert footage from 1998 recorded in Dublin. The concert features performances by Kodo Drummers and Irish group Coolfin led by Donal Lunny, and documentary footage about Kodo and their home on Sado Island, and introduces the concert and performers. As an introduction to Kodo, it's informative and interesting, and the brief performances by Kodo are stunning. The Irish music is also nicely done, featuring Coolfin with solos by Mary O'Neil (the traditional ballad Go, My Love), the fiddle of Sharon Shannon, and a stepdance by Jean Butler to a Donal Lunny tune. Several of the Coolfin songs are also on their 1998 CD. The music featuring both bands together works quite well as both Kodo and Coolfin use the flute as a solo instrument.
